Modena, tradition, a combination of succulence and culture which means appreciating good food with a catering offer characterised by establishments ranging from the high-end 3-star restaurants to simple osterias where the products and flavours of this territory are glorified for the pleasure of good food. Piacere Modena is the name chosen for the project to add value to the territory, its tradition, its history, conveyed by the great value of PDO and PGI food products which have more to tell: where they come from, how they are produced, processed, packaged, what are the characteristics and peculiarities which differentiate them from standardised products.
Piacere Modena is the brand of the company Palatipico Modena srl to which the main consortia for the protection of the provincial PDOs and PGIs as well as the Consorzio Modena a Tavola and Modenatur belong. The Piacere Modena project was created with the crucial support of the Fondazione Agroalimentare Modenese, which promotes the development of the agro-industrial sector thanks to the contribution of the Modena Chamber of Commerce and the protection consortia. The company's task is to promote the area on the national and international market, increase awareness of our products and guarantee their quality. The protection consortia are constantly engaged in assessing the quality of their members' products to protect the producers themselves and consumers. Piacere Modena is synonymous with PDO and PGI excellence: the objective is to consolidate the growth trend of the agricultural sector which is closely linked to the processing enterprises in our region to create economic and employment development as well as to recognise and enhance hospitality and incoming tourism in synergy with existing structures.
